It was a quiet morning in the valley. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, but there was a sense of pending skullduggery in the minds of the residents of the valley. When out of the west came the sounds of horses coming hard; thirteen desperados dismounted, loaded up their long arms and rained hellfire of the stages that J. B. Corn has provided.
