The day started out with scattered clouds but by 10 AM, the sun shone brightly. A baker’s dozen either preregistered or showed up for the match but by the start of the match, we were down to 11 shooters. There were trials and tribulations, but we struggled through to the end.
There were three Clean shooters. Jus Paul, Eeyore and Mild Will.
The top three shooters were:
First Place: Jus Paul
Second Place: J. B. Corn
Third Place: Eeyore
After the six stages were shot, we had an opportunity to shoot a target out on the berm. The first nine shooters scored a miss, then J. B. Corn and Mild Will each had a hit. There was a drawing for the $25 gift certificate (the Turkey) which was won by J. B. Corn. The $10 gift certificate was drawn with the tickets from those who missed the target, Lucas Sagebrush was the winner. In a surprise ending, J. B. Corn offered his gift certificate for another drawing from the tickets of those who had missed the target, Cap & Ball Turmoil took home the Turkey.
